Hi there LUNGSTERS,
Last week we met in DeColores to discuss the future of LUNGS and came up with some specific plans.
We are going to establish a web presence for LUNGS. Facebook, a blog space, google and yahoo were all mentioned in combo with one another.
I have started a LUNGS Group on Facebook, as a first step please join
it if you Facebook It would be great if someone who is web savvy can
establish another presence that is not dependent on Facebook.
We decided to make up a LUNGS brochure, giving a brief explanation of our goals etc and having a map on the back of all the gardens on the Lower East Side. Diana and i are working on designing the brochure, we could use help, we need to come up with a LUNGS logo, a layout, a map, so anyone who would like to work on this please step up.
We said that we would distribute the brochure at the Tree Lighting
Ceremony at Tompkins Square which is scheduled for the early evening of 12/11/11. If LUNGS is to be there we will have to get moving on this soon.
I priced out the brochures online 500 color 8.5 X 11, tri-folded,
about $220 anyone have any ideas about raising the money?
I realize Thanksgiving is coming up but we can pull this together so
please lets communicate and work together.
